The IL Story

Isabella Longginou is a womenswear designer based in Brisbane. Her designs embody the feminine spirit; playful, bold, elegant garments for women.

Over the last 12 years Isabella has established her brand, starting from humble beginnings with small collections and slowly evolving and finding her niche within the custom space. The last 8 years have been spent growing her custom clientele and working with each individual woman to create the perfect style and fit for them.

During this time she became known for her custom pieces, including bridal and eventwear; using unique fabrics sourced locally and from around the globe. Providing her clients with a wide selection of floral prints, eye-catching patterns and vivid colours.

As the business has evolved she has taken a step back to focus on her Ready to Wear collections, exclusive to her online store. Having worked in the custom space for so many years, Isabella has a unique understanding of all body types and shapes. This continues to be a consideration when designing new collections.  All the pieces still focus on natural fibres for the Australian climate as well as ensuring quality and originality in every design.

These collections take the best of her custom history and make it accessible for everyone.
